The sorts of recycled materials that will be used include:
- Plastic drinks bottles
- Drinking straws
- Bottle tops
- Plastic food cartons
- Old CD and DVD discs
- Mechanisms from broken and old toys
Obviously, electric motors will be needed for some of these projects and these will either come from broken or old toys connected to a battery power source.
The main way of attaching these things together will be with a hot glue gun, sticky tape, rubber bands and sometimes even old nuts and bolts.
Good sources of these types of materials include lofts, sheds, garages, kitchen waste bins, car boot sales and charity shops. The world is full of unwanted stuff that can be used to make JunkBots.
